This is a very simple soup to make.
1 yellow onion, sliced into rings1 – 3 cloves garlic chopped1/2 tsp. oregano2 bay leaves2 cups water (stock from kidney beans can be used) 1 Tbsp. yeast extract or marmiteBlack Pepper
1. Sauté onion in a sauce pan on medium heat till lightly golden.2. Add water, yeast extract, oregano, bay leaves and black pepper.3. Simmer for 20 minutes.4. Add more water if necessary.
