Sugar Free Apple Sauce
I love sweets! I know that many others do too, as I am frequently hearing about it.
To help with those sugar cravings in a healthy way, we need to prepare nutritious sweets. I have created lots of sugar free recipes and here is a first one to start a whole series of sugar-free yummies.
Of course it is more nutritious to eat the fruit raw but sometimes we are looking for that comfort food that is sweet and hot. This is a good fruit sauce that does not have any added sugar and it tastes good too.

Maria, it is my pleasure and great to be appreciated too. I’d send you a star but we don’t have them on our site.
This is not sugar-free. It is a recipe for No-Sugar Added Apple Sauce, but Apples have quite a bit of sugar in them already, so this may be misleading to a diabetic who must watch sugar intake.
Thanks Drew. We will be more specific. It should read no sugar or white sugar added. Most whole foods have some simple sugars in them. Diabetics must take this into account.
this is a great recipe. i love making my own apple sauce.
randy — i agree with you about whole foods having sugar in them.
what are sultanas?????
annie!
Hi Annie, happy that you love making your own apples sauce too.
Sultanas are a type of raisin; guess I need to say that in my recipes since you are the second one to ask me that here this week. Thank you!
