Ingredients:
2 tablespoons almond oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups fresh or frozen green peas
6 mushrooms, sliced
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp coriander
1/4 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
3 Tbsp water
- Chop the onion.
- Mince the garlic.
- Slice the mushrooms.
- Heat the almond oil in a skillet over medium heat. For sautéing use Refined Almond Oil for its high smoke point.
- Sauté the mushrooms and onions till golden.
- Add the garlic and stir fry for a few more minutes.
- Mix in the water, spices and salt.
- Add the green peas.
- Cover and cook until the peas are tender, about 10 minutes.
