Delicious juicy peaches are a star in this strawberry peach green smoothie recipe and have an abundance of health benefits and are low in calories!  Peaches help fight obesity-related diabetes and cardiovascular diseases with its spectrum of antioxidants and have a positive effect in preventing cancer. They keep the skin healthy, nourish the scalp, and calm the stomach.  Peaches also help to reduce anxiety and cleansing your kidneys and bladder.

Strawberries are considered to be one of the healthiest fruits. They are packed with antioxidants, lower blood pressure, and protect your heart. Also, full of essential vitamins and minerals, and are also sodium, cholesterol, and fat-free.

Greens are a must in this strawberry peach green smoothie recipe.

Spinach was a superfood even before there was the term superfood.  I’m referring of course to Popeye the Sailor Man. One can of the green stuff and he turned into muscle popping tornado of energy. Even without Popeye’s recommendation, spinach contains more nutrients per calorie than any other food on the earth. It is loaded with vitamins like A, K, D, and E and a host of trace minerals and is a good source of omega 3 fatty acid.

Beautiful Swiss chard with its deep green, red, purple, and yellow leaves and bright colored juicy stalks is one of the most nutritious superfood vegetables.  The nutrition benefits of Swiss chard include its many antioxidants, polyphenol, betalain, and carotenoid antioxidants which are powerful at fighting free radical damage, inflammation, and disease development.

Golden flax meal offers a wonderful nutritional boost to almost any recipe. Omega-3 fatty acids, 4g of fiber, and lignans make for a heart-healthy nutritional combination. Mild in flavor and ground for a maximum bioavailability of nutrients, Organic Golden Flaxseed Meal can be inconspicuously added to almost any recipe – smoothies, shakes, breads, cookies, pancakes, over salads, and more.
